Freezing temps for perennials
Had freezing temps in the twenties and wonder if my daylilies, clematis, hollyhocks will bloom. They did not turn dark but are limp at this time.

The daylilies and hollyhocks will recover and bloom without trouble. Even if the foliage is badly damaged, they can grow more and still bloom this season. The clematis is likely to do the same; it just depends how developed the buds were and how severely they were damaged by the freezing temps.
