Droopy leaves on gardenia
"I just planted a gardenia bush and a lot of leaves had died and the others stay droopy. What do I need to do?"

This sounds like a problem in the root zone of the plant. Droopy leaves could be from lack of water, but they can also develop if the plant is overwatered to the point that roots are smothered from lack of oxygen. Check the soil in the old rootball of the plant. Is it moist or dry? Water less or more so the soil in the root zone itself stays moist but not soaking wet.
