what kind of plants can help a pond to stop turning green
I need to know what kind of plants to put in my pond that may help deter it from turning green?

Thanks for writing. Any plants that grow underwater or on the surface of your pond will help stop algae. Some of my favorites include lotus, water lilies, parrot's feather, and water clover.

Look for submerged plants at your local pet store in the fish section; look for water lilies and other plants that grow on the surface at your local garden center or nursery.
