Nut trees
We live on 1 acre, we have 11 hickory trees and 4 walnut trees. The nuts these trees produce can be overwhelming. Last season, we picked up about 60 gallons of nuts a week!! Is there anyway to stunt the nut production without harming the trees?

I'm sorry, there's no way to prevent your trees from doing what comes naturally. If it helps, though, nut and fruit trees often don't produce very well the year following a bumper crop. So, perhaps this year, you'll have a few less nuts to deal with.
