serious deer problem-rip off netting. eat marigolds, monarda, sweet william, astilbe, iris, queen anne's lace, wild daisies-all supposedly "deer resistant". this is recent and there is plenty of deer food around.
Deer "resistant' is not the same as deer "proof" as you're finding out. There are several methods to keep deer away -- Many people claim that using MIlorganite fertilzer repels deer. A fence, of course, will work (if it's tall enough). If you set up a hot wire, a deer usually only has to touch it once and they never come near again. A pet dog is good for chasing them away. And repellents like LIquid Fence are actually pretty effective, although prohibitively expensive for large gardens.
