Tomato Suckers?
When a tomato plant starts to grow really bushy are you suppose to snap off some of these "suckers" so that the plant will start to produce quicker?

Removal of tomato suckers is a matter of personal preference, and somewhat depends on the way the tomatoes are grown. I never remove the suckers on my tomato plants, and see no delay in fruiting from it. In fact, there can be an advantage to leaving the suckers on: They prevent sunscalded fruits by shading them from the hot sun. If you grow your tomatoes on a single pole trellising system, you may want to remove suckers to make it easier to tie them up to the support.
