tan spots on new tomatoe plants
the plants are from the nursery and in a topsy turvy planter so they never touched my garden soil ...how do i i.d. and cure these tan spots?

It's hard to say what's going on here because I've never used a topsy turvy container and don't recommend them. I have heard from other gardeners who use these planters that their leaves get spotted, most likely from fertilizer dripping on the leaves from the soil or from minerals in the water. That's why I don't like these planters. Their design is such that the foliage of the plants gets splashed from above (yet the leaves undersides) all the time and that's not a natural situation for the plants."
