rotten spots on tomatoes, melons and leaves on collards eaten
My tomatoes were growing well and after the second harvest they began to rot on the vine. My collards have been eaten. I was told it was probably beatle bugs. I need to know what to.

Well it's hard to help much here without more information. Give me more information. Are your tomato plants looking healthy? Or are the plants sick, too. If it's just the fruit I can help with that. Also, where are they planted (amount of sun, soil type, etc)? For the collards, did you actually see the pest? The term beetle bug could mean any pest of several varieties. Keep in mind that collards don't do well in hot weather anyway, and their time is probably up for this year anyway. Again, send in more information about your tomato problem and we can help more.
