Deadhead regularly or cut back after first flush of flowering?
What does this mean and how do I do it. Shasta daisy look like they are dying and I need to know what to do next or are they just done for the season. I'm in WA State and don't know what to do with them next. I moved into this house last year and this is my first encounter with daisies Please help.

Your shasta daisies (Leucanthemum x supurbum) will bloom almost the entire season if you deadhead them. That means snipping off the spent blooms once a week or so. Just snip back to the nearest leaves, where there'll likely already be new buds emerging.
