Ground cover between pavers
I have large rock pavers that have 6 inches between them in full hot sun. I also have a dog that likes to do his " business" in the same area. Grass has not worked out well and ornamental strawberry burned from the sun. Any suggestions, we also have a pool in the same area? My next step may be smooth river stones.

What a fun question. There are lots of cool plants that will thrive in between your pavers and even withstand some foot traffic. 'Elfin' thyme, New Zealand brass buttons (Leptinella 'Platt's Black'), blue star creeper (Isotoma, golden creeping Jenny (Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea'), and double bird's foot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus 'Plenus') are all excellent candidates and are available mail order from a great complany called Stepables...visit their web site at stepables.com for retailers near you. And good luck!
