Ground cover around pond
We have a small pond and it is surrounded by hostas and other partial sun plants, flat rocks japenese ferns, what can we use on earthy areas for ground cover? The soil is well drained, but sloped, we need a little color here.

I highly recommend golden lysimachia or moneywort. It's a creeper with bright golden foliage and it can grow in partial shade. Other good choices would be lamium, vinca, sweet woodruff, or epimedium. Also, there is an aquatic forget-me-not that does well at the edge of ponds. It has blue flowers in summer and can take boggy conditions.
