Garden Design for Sloping wooded area
All your garden designs are on flat areas or uphill. I have a sloping back wooded area and can't figure out how to work with the area. I also have clay soil and deer so planting a garden is a real challenge. Could you do an article on this type of area?
You probably want low-growing plants and shrubs that will secure the soil to prevent erosion. Here are a few suggestions for your area and conditions:

In addition, check with your local county extension service for clumping, ornamental grasses that thrive there.
