Best plants for between stepping stones
I have a patio with cement blocks. It is old but the blocks are in good condition. I am tired of weeding between the blocks. I have tried sand etc. but still get weeds. Would planting creeping thyme stop the weeds, and be attractive? I hate to start with cement and so on. thank you for your time. No pun intended!

Creeping thyme will thrive in those between-the-steppers crevices as long as it's a sunny site. It's not only attractive, but it smells terrific when you brush against it. You'll still have to weed between the blocks while the thyme gets itself established, but after a season or two, it will reduce your weeding chore considerably.
