my impatiens turn yellow
I plant my impatiens in the shade and the leaves always seem to turn yellow and then the plant gets sgraggly and dies off. Am I watering too much?

Hi,

Thanks for writing. Without being able to see your impatiens in person, I can't say for sure what the problem is, but what you describe does sound like overwatering. It's best to let the top inch or two of the soil become dry to the touch before watering again.
