black buds on Hibiscus
"I have 3 hibiscus planted in areas that are sunny all day. None of the 3 sprout flowers, the buds die and turn black before they sprout.
What do I need to do to fix this problem?

Hibiscus may drop their flower buds if they are overfertilized or exposed to moisture extremes, but your blackened buds are the sure sign of disease. Remove all fallen plant debris around the base of your plants. The disease may lessen if environmental conditions change (drier weather, for example), but if the buds continue to rot, consider treating your plants with a fungicide.
