I have heard that Lavender, Rosemary, Lemon Grass and citrus geraniums detour mosquitoes. I have planted several of each plant as of the last 2 years. I am now preparing for the new season of these blood sucking intruders (mine mostly) and am wondering if I can put stems, leaves, and blooms into tiki torch oil? I am wanting a safe way to make the uninvited pest feel as unwelcome as possible but at the same time not harming the wildlife I have designed my gardens to attract.
