holes in sweet potato vine leaves
I had alot of sweet potato vines this year in pots and window boxes. The leaves were full of holes. What would this be and how do I prevent it next year? Thanks.

There's no way of knowing exactly what's eating your sweet potato vines without seeing the culprit in action. However, these plants are very attractive to slugs, which could cause the holes. Slugs dine at night, too so you would not see them. You can buy slug and snail bait at most garden centers.
