Hanging plants
Every year I buy hanging annuals for both the north and south side of my Wisconsin home. After about a month they slowly start to dry up and die. I water them regularly and limit the amount of time they are in the hot mid-day sun. No matter what I've tried, I still get the same result, twiggy, leaf-less, just-about-dead plants. What am I doing wrong or not doing at all?

What kind of annuals are you growing? It often depends upon the species since I often see certain annuals being sold in hanging baskets I don't recommend to be grown that way. Also, it often depends on the type of soil they are growing in and how much you are, or are not, feeding them. Repost with more specifics on the species you have tried to grow, where you've bought your plants, how you feed and water, etc.
