Ants in vegetable garden
I have ants attacking vegetables in my garden.

You can use the insecticide Sevin (active ingredient Carbaryl) in the vegetable garden. Follow the label instructions on applications prior to harvest.

Ack! Sevin is poison. Instead, there are some organic possibilities. Some swear by dry grits - they'll swell once eaten. I use diatomaceous earth around and on the plants they're attacking. You can also soak the ant hill in insecticidal soap.
