Repel squirrels & chipmunks
The squirrels are eating all my tomatoes, cucumbers, summer & zucchini squash, green bell peppers ( including jalapeno ). They also LOVE my roses and their buds. I should tell you that I have a bird feeder with mixed seeds, which the squirrels & chipmunks find delectable. Do I have to give-up feeding my feather friends ? My entire house lot is very small( 30 x 70 ).
The squirrels and chipmunks are now used to finding food in your garden. Stopping the bird feeding won't change that right away; they'll still come looking for food. You might try spraying the plants you'd like to protect with an organic animal repellent. Messina and Liquid Fence make organic animal repellent products.
