Fig Tree Fruit
I live in northern Virginia. I took a cutting from a neighbor's fig tree during the first week of July this year. My tree now has fruit about the size of the end of my thumb and I wonder if there is still time this season for the fruit to ripen?
Thanks for writing. It's possible your fruit will ripen --- it depends on what variety you have, what sort of weather you have between now and the end of the season, and several other factors. I'd wait and see what happens.
