Damage to Juniper plants from dogs urinating on them
Is there something we can do to keep our pet dogs from urinating on our junipers? They are getting yellow and brown from their constantly relieving themselves on these plants. I was wondering if there is a dog safe deterrent. When I catch them doing it, I immediately rinse the plants w/water. Thanks for your help!

There are repellents you can buy at your local garden center. Liquid Fence is a brand that has a dog/cat repellent. Please note though that although the product works really well on cats, dogs are very individualistic in their tastes and your dogs might actually like it. You just have to try to see. Also, your only other option is to keep the dogs away from the plants with a low border fence.
