Cats in the flowerbed
I have several flowerbeds by my front door and around my house. It seems that all the cats in the neighborhood come to my flowerbeds to "do their business". How can I keep this from happening? I love cats and don't want to hurt them, but some of the plants are getting dug up--besides the smell by the house! I also have some evergreen-type shrubs close to the house that the male cats apparently like to "spray". I plan to get rid of the shrubs, but need to keep the cats away until then. Help!

Probably the best remedy would be to use a spray repellent designed for cats and dogs. Liquid Fence makes a repellent that works really well for cats. Just follow label directions. You can generally find it at home centers or garden centers. Look for the dog and cat repellent from Liquid Fence.
