How do you get rid of moles/gophers?
Submitted by nancyshelton2

Hi, Well my guess is that you don't have gophers. Gophers are a problem in the western U.S. and rarely come into lawn areas. If you have tunnels running just under the surface of your lawn, those are caused by moles. Now moles are carnivores that dine most heavily on earthworms and, when the weather turns hotter and the worms go deeper in the soil, the moles often disappear on their own. However, there are mole repellents available you can buy at most garden centers. The products I recommend are made either by Liquid Fence or Messina. Do not try any folklore remedies such as chewing gum or mothballs. Those do not work.
