No buds or flowers on one of my peony plants
Hi! I have two Sarah Bernhardt peony plants. For the second season in a row only one of them has buds & is getting ready to bloom. They are planted about three feet apart in a sun to part sun area. What do you think the problem might be?

Hi, With peonies, lack of flowering almost always is due to lack of sun. Perhaps that one plant isn't getting as much sun as you think. Or, it was planted incorrectly to begin with. Peony roots need to be planted just an inch or two under the soil surface. Any deeper and it can affect blooming.
