Rose tree died
My sister passed and she had a rose tre that was doing great....I brought it my house to take care of it and noticed the roots were root i replanted the rose tree and all of the blooms and leaves died....I have now trimmed it back to the poit where it looks like it is in it's dormant state...willl the blooms and leaves come back...guess I shuld have waited until late fall to do this. I live in Baltimore, MD

Hi, Well roses are best pruned during the winter while they are dormant. You may have inadvertantly killed this plant by cutting it back so severely. I can't guess if it will come back. My guess is that it might not, but you never know.
