How do I get divided Siberian iris to bloom?
I have a large clump of Siberian iris that bloomed well until I divided it. The divisions came up and the original clump seems to be healthy, but no blooms. What have I done wrong, or what can I do to encourage bloom?

If the divisions were quite small, they might be too little to bloom. In this case, you should see flowers next season or the season after. Was your plant moved to a new location? If so, the plant may be suffering transplant shock. If this happened, it should bloom normally next year. Also, be sure you replanted everything at the same level it was growing at originally. Replanting too deep or too shallow can prevent blooms.
