Our yard is almost 100% weeds. What do I need to do to start over and have a yard with green grass? The yard is mostly shady through out the day except one area which gets sun in the afternoon.
Hi, Well the key here is the amount of shade your garden is receiving. If it's too shady there are no grasses that will survive. Even shade-tolerant turf grasses will fail in heavy shade. You don't say how much sun the area gets per day, but you might have to resort to using a mulch over the soil to create a nice-looking surface. You just won't ever have green grass if you have too much shade.
