Sprucing up a machine shed wall
I would like to plant something against a west facing machine shed wall. The soil is somewhat sandy. I would like some ideas about what to plant. I live near Conde, South Dakota. Thank you.

Hi, Well if you want to keep the wall out of view you could plant a line of Emerald arborvitae. They are slow growing, but eventually get to 12 or 14 feet tall, look great all year long, and are very narrow so you won't lose much ground space. Or, you could tack a trellis on the shed and grow a vine such as trumpet vine over the top.
