Low maintenance plants for shaded area that doesn't smell or attract bees
I have a brick planter about five feet long and twenty inches wide. For the last five years I have sucessfully planted impatients of all colors. This year I would love to plant something else either with or without the impatients in a step down or tiered look with high plants in back and low plants in front the only problem is that I'm very allergic to plants that give off scent and bees. What would you suggest that's low maintenance for a shaded area?

Hi, Well I'd add to your impatiens with foliage plants such as coleus and caladium.
