Bulb Planting
What is the best procedure to "start" Elephant Ear Bulb indoors?
Submitted by Smiglern

Thanks for writing. It's actually pretty easy --- just plant the bulb in a large pot filled with potting mix and keep it in a warm, sunny window. It may take a few weeks for the bulb to start growing, but once you see leaves, keep watering until after all danger of frost has passed and you can plant it outdoors.

When  you do bring it outside, you'll need to acclimate it to outdoor conditions by moving it to a shady spot. After a couple of weeks in the shade, it should toughen up so you can move it to a sunnier spot.
