moving perennials
I have hostas planted as a boarder on one side of my garden, but I want to move them to the other side where the walk way is and use as groundcover. Is this possible?

Thanks for writing. You can move hostas and it's actually quite easy if the plants are small (big plants can be difficult because they have larger root systems) --- just dig them up, keeping as much of the root system intact as possible, then replant them in a new spot. You can do this anytime from spring to fall.
