Azaleas
Azaleas aren't looking very good - live in New
Port Richey, FL. Have had a very cold winter. Plants are blooming but leaves are thin, some brown near the top of plants. What can I do to get them to put out new growth? Is a vinegar solution good for them? I know it is early but thought I would ask. I have a feeling that all of a sudden it will be summer here in FL.

Thanks for writing. If they've been damaged by cold, there's not much you can do but let them recover on their own. Do NOT spray them with vinegar; vinegar is sometimes used as a herbicide and that could damge your azaleas, especially if they're strugging already.
