Thanks for writing. Plant peonies in fall or spring in moist, well-drained soil in full sun. The top of the crown, where the leaves grow from, should be at soil level. Don't cover it up --- if you do, your peonies may not bloom.
That's pretty much all there is to it. Peonies are wonderfully carefree once established. The biggest thing is not planting them too deep.
