What is the cause for all my daffodils coming up yellow this year when a couple of years ago I planted some yellow and some white?
I planted some yellow and some white daffodils a couple of years ago. This year they all came up yellow. What happened?

Some daffodil varieties are naturally more vigorous than others. When different varieties are planted together, sometimes the more vigorous type crowds out the less vigorous type. If you dig your daffodils this summer, separate the bulbs and plant them with more space between them. Then your white ones should start blooming again.
