What evergreen makes a good privacy screen?
I'd like to use a vine as a screen from my neighbor's property. Can you suggest an evergreen vine that would provide screening all year?

An evergreen vine can make a good screen in a narrow space. Few evergreen vines are hardy in northern climates, however. Wintercreeper (Euonymus fortunei) is hardy in Zones 5-9 (some in Zone 4), and English ivy (Hedera helix) and Persian ivy (H. colchica) may be grown in Zones 6-10 (some in Zone 5). Other choices for warmer areas include creeping fig (Ficus pumila), Zones 8-10; Carolina jessamine (Gelsemium sempervirens), Zones 8-10; Armand clematis (Clematis armandii), Zones 7-9; cross vine (Bignonia capreolata), Zones 7-9; and Confederate jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides), Zones 8-10.
