Help with container citrus in morning shade HOT afternoon sun.

I have a question about growing citrus in containers. I live in Central Texas and have two large whiskey barrels with small citrus trees, a lemon and a lime. They are too hard to move often, even with wheels. My property gets morning shade and blazing afternoon sun. Any advice to keep them alive? Thank you!

If you really can't move them, then do one or more of the following:

Water thoroughly every day - citrus can take full sun just fine, given regular water.

Drape a sheer cloth over them (like cheesecloth)

Whitewash the leaves or sprinkle a fine white powder (such as gypsum) on them, to reflect the sun.
