Planting a new garden

I have cleared and tilled a 10' x 12' garden space. I want to plant watermelons,squash ,tomatoes, and okra. How much space should I alot for each vegetables and any other advice will be appreciated. Thanks

First, you don't have enough room for all that. Watermelon runs quite a bit and wil take up half of that space. A couple of hills of squash will take the other half. I think you could grow a hill of squash, three or four tomato plants and a couple rows of okra in that space, if you left out the melons. But one way or the other, you need to cut something from your list. Or get a bigger garden!
