It's a common misconception that controlling grub populations will get rid of moles. Moles do eat grubs, but the number one food source of moles is earthworms, not white grubs. Moles will eat almost any insect larva they come across while digging through the soil. Rather than assuming that grubs are to blame because you see moles digging in the lawn, check to see how many grubs are present. Unless your lawn has more than 10 grubs per square foot (that's a lot!), chemical treatment for grubs is likely unnecessary. Trapping is the most reliable way to eliminate moles. Harpoon or choker traps are effective.
