Part sun/shade perennials that grow along with myrtle.
Hi, I asked the question about myrtle and perennials that grow along with it. My terrace in Michigan is part sun/shade, and the myrtle keeps growing over flowering perennials like daylillies, black eyed susans & spreading roses. Are there any flowering perennials that could grow through it & keep coming back?
Vinca, also known as periwinkle or myrtle, is usually a groundcover, but can clamber over other low-growing plants. You may need to select tall-growing perennials such as garden phlox or balloon flower, that won't be overwhelmed by your myrtle.
