what can i do to improve drainage around my garden
The back of my garden is sitting in a pool of water, and my flowers are going to drown if i dont do something... i put a black trim border around the garden to hopefully prevent this from happening,how can i improve the drainage and prevent this from happening again!...please help.!!!!!!!!
Some drainage issues in the landscape may require regrading the slope and/or solutions such as a French drain. These solutions would require the assistance of a landscape contractor. However, you may be able to solve your problem by creating a raised bed or berm for your plantings. Adding organic matter to the existing soil will help water percolate into the soil better, and improve the drainage of the site.
