How do I remove mildew from walls and ceilings?

My bathroom has some mildew on the walls and ceilings and I desperately want to get rid of it. How can I remove it? How do I prevent mildew from coming back?

The mildew must be killed first. A good household bleach product will usually do the trick. Let the area dry and then paint it with a stain block product (such as Kilz) and then top it with a mildew-resistant paint.

Removing mold or mildew is not a big issue you can clean them with 3% of hydrogen peroxide. Spray a solution of water and hydrogen peroxide on mildew, let it be for an hour and the wipe all mold with a piece of cloth. The main challenge is not let this mold and mildew come back again. For this you need a better ventilation system that can reduce excess of moisture from air and prevent mold growth. http://ventilationreview.com.au/
