How do i plant dill from seed ?

What's the best soil for planting dill seeds in?

Hi, I would start them in a sterile, seed starting mix indoors under grow lights or directly outdoors once frost danger has passed. Outdoors, dill likes a loose, rich soil that's slightly moist. Cover the seeds with a little soil and don't let them dry out--don't let them stay soggy either. Once germinated, water whenever the soil dries out.
