Hi Well once they are up and growing you don't have a lot of options other than hoeing or hand pulling. Once you have them pulled, then put down a thick mulch of shredded bark or any organic material you can find. There is a pre-emergent herbicide called PREEN you can buy at most home stores, but this must be applied before the weeds sprout. Once they are up and going, you need to cultivate or pull them out.
