Lawn Ivy

How do I get rid of lawn ivy that seems to be taking over my entire lawn?

I assume you are talking about creeping charlie, aka ground ivy. The only effective way i know is the use of broadleaf weed killers. The trick is a second, followup treatement 10-14 days after the first. one spray will not do the job, but two typically does. Make sure the lawn is well watered and everything health and actively growing  when you spray. Otherwise it won't work well.
