Sun loving vines

Hi I have a chain link fence all along the back of my home. I would really love a vine to cover it up, something that doesn't die off during the year. My fence is about 40'X60' and I live in deep south texas so I would need something that is sun loving. Thank you!

Thanks for writing. There are several types of passionflower you should able to grow with ease, as well as sky vine, bougainvillea, wisteria, and more.

Look for these and other great choices at your local garden center.

Confederate Jasmine. It's leaves are a nice glossy evergreen, blooms are rather small but bright white (cheery in the day and visible at night) and it smells phenomenal. Some kinds of wisteria are invasive!!!
