growing nightshade

Should I allow (deadly) nightshade to grow wild on my property so the birds can enjoy the berries? Is it really deadly?

If you don't mind the nightshade, you're sure welcome to let it grow. Nightshade belongs to the same plant family as tomatoes, and the foliage and berries are poisonous. But you'd have to consume an awful lot of it--pounds--for it to kill you.
