suckers on tomatoes

Should I remove the suckers between the leaf and the stalk of my tomato plants?

Yes, it's a good idea to remove the suckers. It helps direct the plant's energy to what's really important: fruit production. But I've grown tomatoes both ways--with and without pinching off the suckers--and I've found they're always prolific producers regardless. Personally, I consider it an optional maintenance task.
