planting time

" I live in zone 9 and want to know when to plant cabbage, carrot, mustard greens, and beets. Thank you, Nathion"

Planting time for vegetables is in relation to your average last frost date rather than Hardiness Zone. For fall planting, take the number of days to maturity for the vegetable you plan to plant, add 20 days (to account for shorter daylength and slower growth in fall), and count back that many days from your average first fall frost date to determine when to plant.
