planting lima beans Baltimore, Md

what is the growing season for lima beans?
Submitted by trishandjoe1

Hi,

Thanks for writing. Most lima beans need two to three months to mature, so I'd count back from your average first fall frost date and see if there's time yet this year.

If not, wait until next spring and plant them after danger of frost has passed in spring.
